The Karlsruher SC is part of the legendary golf tournament in Bruchsal, which starts on June 7. The VfB Stuttgart meets the Karlsruher SC at the Legends Masters. The former KSC player Manfred Bender has organized the tournament. Bender was active in his career for TSG 1860 Munich, Bayern Munich and Karlsruher SC. He was also part of the legendary 7:0 win on November 2, 1993 against Valencia in Winnie Schäfer's team. For the KSC, he played a total of 103 Bundesliga games between 1992 and 2000. The proceeds of the event will go to selected social projects in the region. In the past three tournaments, which were held in Speyer twice and in Schwäbisch Hall, the Franz-Beckenbauer-Stiftung and Nicolas-May-Stiftung as well as organizations such as the „Flyer Alarm Kids Foundation“, GOFUS e.V. or the Trier Children's Hospice were supported. A total of eight teams will compete in attractive pairings. There are already some big names involved. The teams will compete in thrilling duels: VfB Stuttgart against Karlsruher SC, TSV 1860 Munich against FC Bayern Munich, Borussia Mönchengladbach against 1. FC Cologne and Werder Bremen against an all-star team with prominent football legends. How Bender came up with the idea of a golf tournament? A few years ago, he noticed that more and more former footballers were playing golf. Due to his many networks, the idea of the „Legends Masters“ was born. And why now in Bruchsal? A common acquaintance of Golf-Club President Oliver Badde had established contact and said: „Let's do it in Bruchsal“, so Manni Bender, who has lived in Munich for years.
