Karlsruher SC is on the verge of finding a new head coach. According to Sky Sport information, Maximilian Senft from Austrian Bundesliga club SV Ried will take over the team in the upcoming season. The 36-year-old is currently fighting for a spot in the Conference League - and that with the second smallest budget in the league. In personal talks, Senft has convinced the KSC bosses more than any other candidate. The tactician stands for an active, pressing football and is currently the hottest topic on the Austrian coaching market. His team has already informed Senft about his departure in the summer. Interestingly, Senft is also a successful poker player. In 2014, he finished 11th at the World Poker Championship. After the talks with Senft have progressed far, it remains to be seen whether the 36-year-old will actually take over the team. Karlsruher SC hopes for a successful season with the new coach.
